The weather in South Tyrol
Current weather forecast for your holidays
You are definitely looking forward to your holidays in South Tyrol. You might wonder: what’s the weather going to be like? Sunshine? Cloudy? Rain or snow? Here's the weather forecast for this area!
Today
Current weather
After the low stratus clouds have cleared, the weather will be pleasant once again today, though not completely bright. Extensive veil clouds may at times weaken or obscure the sun.
Temperatures
Maximum temperatures will range from 12° to 16°.
Next evolution
On Tuesday, clouds will continue to dominate, and during the first half of the day, there may still be a few light, insignificant showers. In the afternoon, brief sunny intervals are possible in the Vinschgau.
Wednesday will be somewhat brighter despite many clouds. Especially in the west and over the larger valleys, the sun will occasionally break through.
On Thursday, clouds will again prevail, with only occasional sunshine. In the evening, a front may bring scattered showers, particularly to the northern parts of the region.
The forecast for Friday is still uncertain, but mostly sunny weather is likely to set in.
Weather in the mountains
A westerly to southwesterly upper-level flow is bringing more humid air masses toward the Alps.
After the breakup of the low clouds, the weather will become partly sunny. However, veil clouds will dim the sunlight and create diffuse lighting conditions over South Tyrol’s mountains.
Mountain weather tomorrow
A humid southwesterly flow is dominating the weather in South Tyrol.
In the morning, brief sunny intervals are still possible above the low stratus layer. As the day progresses, the sky will become overcast, and by evening, light precipitation may move in from the southwest. The snow line will be between 2000 and 2300 m.
